I had no problem after reading this blog. I used winzip to extract the .exe file on the disc into a folder on the desktop, Windows 7 64x. and then plugged the card back in and the driver's automatically installed. Didn't have to make any changes to anything, files, registry or whatever. Works perfectly.

Yeah, when I originally wrote this article a few months back, Win7 wasn't even out yet, so Comcast was zero help what so ever. I would definately upgrade to Win7 if I were you…

Comcast acted like snobs about this when I asked their tech support.

I swear…. 6 months from now… (contract) I will go to Clear!

crap, when I moved my site back over to wordpress, i lost all the comments that were connected to this post. There were about 15-20 with discussion on this. Let me see if I can find some info for you. I have used the methods above, and the additional info from the “updates” to the post. I've done this on a handful of computers now and it's worked successfully. let me see if i can find the old comments and pull some info for you.

I'm having problems “manually” installing the drivers. I have done everything that you have outlined. Two different data interface adapters show up under “other devices” in the hardware manager. No matter which one I pick and point to the 64-bit drivers it says that the driver cannot start. Am I missing something?
